Welcome to a new diaphragm made of PVDF

ROIS develops a new fluid dispensing diaphragm made of PVDF, which provides corrosion and abrasion resistance in dosing of chemical substances.
Thanks to its internal surface features, PVDF doesn’t release polluting materials in the fluid.
It’s highly resistant to chemicals, strong acids, mineral and organic acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, halogenated solvents and oxidising environments.
The working temperature range vary from -40 °C to +150 °C. PVDF is resistant to UV rays and exceeds all other fluorinated polymers with regard to the resistance to high radiations. The diaphragm made of PVDF is non-toxic and can be used in repeated contact with food. Its surface is unfavorable to the proliferation of microorganisms. This solution provides better performance when the fluid to be dispensed may contain micro abrasive particles. The PVDF material ensures a long resistance of the diaphragm and it guarantees good performance in durability and the capability to work with dense fluid pressurized in the tank.
